Despite numerous failures with regard to WW over the past two weeks, I’m down to 135 pounds, which puts me under my Oh My God weight (I used to be 165, so I get a little hysterical when the scale starts to creep in the wrong direction).
This little doohickey says my four pound loss would translate to a 40 second improvement in my 5K times. I think that’s probably a little (!) optimistic, but I’ll take any improvement.
The first 5K one in over a year is coming up on July 4, but I’m thinking I’m not ready to care about times. I’ve done no speed training yet, and am mostly just trying to get the weight off and focus on comfort with distance.
